Fair divisions. No smurfs.

The thing that wrecks most rec leagues is a borrowed account or a smurf stomping a division. EGL checks every player before they play.

  • 30+, checked by staffYou confirm your age and staff approve every signup. ID check before any prize event.
  • One Riot account per seasonYou prove the account is yours by swapping your player card and playing one match.
  • Level 50 and rank checksAccount level 50 minimum, plus rank checks on every player so divisions stay even.

Questions

Do I need a team to sign up?

No. Sign up solo. Once staff approve you, you can join a team that has room or start your own.

How much time does it take?

One Bo3 series a week during the Split, plus playoffs if your team makes it. Reschedules can be agreed 48 hours ahead.

Why do you check age and accounts?

To keep it a 30+ league with fair divisions. Staff approve every signup, and every player links one Riot account for the season.

Is this run by Riot?

No. EGL is a community competition and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Riot Games.
